Your Voice for Affordability

    • Led the charge of reducing Ajax Property Tax by 1% in the 2026 budget, saving taxpayer dollars.

    • Initiated the Town’s first Sponsorship and Naming Rights bylaw, enabling the town to generate a non-tax revenue stream.

    • Advocated for the Province to develop a sustainable municipal funding model through the sharing of the Provincial portion of HST.

    • Advocated for the Province to increase Ontario Works Rates.

Your Voice for Safety

    • Challenged the inequalities within the DRPS

    • Advocated for the Provincial government to immediately appoint more judges, addressing the severe delays in the judicial system.

Your Voice for Diversity and Inclusion

    • Created the Ajax Anti-Racism Taskforce

    • Highlighted the rising issue of the Missing Black Boys in Ajax and across Canada.

    • Endorsed the National Council of Canadian Muslims’ recommendation to fight Islamophobia

Your Voice for the Environment

    • Declared Climate Emergency in Ajax

    • Established Corporate Greenhouse Gas Emissions Targets

    • Established Green Building Standards

Your Voice for Community

    • Delivered the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade Mayor’s Address in 2022, 2025 and 2026

    • Directed a Town-Wide Parking Study to address the lack of on-street parking

    • Advocated for the Go Express train

    • Advocated for Landlord Tenant Reforms

    • Advocated for a Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Care and Emergency Department to address the critical system gap to ensure the right care through immediate response to individuals in crisis
