Your Voice for Ajax

A resident of Ajax with his wife and 8-year-old son, Sterling Lee graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University before starting his 12-year career within the technology sector, working with Rogers and Microsoft. In 2015, Sterling decided to pursue his passion for Public Service, working for the office of the Honourable Mark Holland.

In 2018 and again in 2022, Sterling has served as Ajax’s youngest Regional Councillor. Throughout his past 2 terms, Sterling has held the following roles:

Deputy Mayor: 2020-2022, 2024-2026
Member of the Ajax Library Board: 2018-2026
Member of the Durham Region Anti-Racism Task Force: 2021-2026
Member of the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority: 2018-2022
Led the Ajax Delegations with the Province of Ontario at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference: 2025-2026
Business Advisory Centre of Durham Region: 2020-2022

In 2026 and beyond, Sterling hopes to continue representing Ajax’s Ward 2 as Your Voice for Ajax.
